Video Design & Production
The video on the portfolio page is an excerpt from a dramatic, training miniseries Ms. Rubin managed for Microsoft. The series included four episodes with a story that built to a conclusion. This twist on standard training was designed to teach Microsoft marketers key marketing concepts in an innovative way.
Recently Ms. Rubin also produced a dramatic training series designed to teach employees in a health care system why it is important to be aware of and avoid weight bias in working with patients. This series showed "bad" and "good" ways to work with patients. As you will see, the video to the right is an example of one of the "bad" ways to interact with patients.
Ms. Rubin was a professional video producer for private industry, universities, cable television and public television stations before becoming an instructional designer. She continues to rely on her skills as a producer, scriptwriter, and video editor in her work as an instructional designer.
